1929: This picture is just awesome. It reminds me of the Beverly Hillbillies. My great
grandma is on the right.
1933: This is a picture of my great grandma that was taken in 1933. Here name was
Pauline Stohler. I thought that the fashion was kind of interesting with the hat
and the style of dress.
1934: I thought this was an interesting cultural picture. My great grandma is to the
left. Apparently they’re beet topping. Check out the wheels on the truck.
1935: This is another picture of my great-grandma, this time in 1935. This was
shortly before she was married.
1936: At this point, she became Pauline Walz. I’m not sure whether this picture was
originally black and white and then color was added in or whether it’s actually
in color. Their faces look really washed out, but it’s still a cool
picture.
1940: This is Bill and Pauline in 1940 with their first child, Laray—my great
aunt.
1946: In this picture, the family has grown by a few heads. My grandma, Janice, is to
the right.
1960: Skipping forward a decade, we see my grandma’s wedding to Willard Rudd on Sep
10, 1960.
1962: This final picture depicts my great grandpa and grandma in 1962.
