Potter's School teacher Emily Sewall and her husband Evan proudly announce the birth of their son, Easton Andrew Sewall. Easton was born during the early hours of August 8, 2007. Midwife Caren Crootoff delivered him in Saint Claire's hospital in Schenectady, New York. He weighed a healthy eight pounds and eight ounces. Mrs. Sewall says her firstborn daughter, Ella, who is now 17 months old, "was not happy at first, to be sure. No longer being the center of attention is never easy, especially for a toddler. But she now loves her little brother. She can't say 'baby' so she says 'mei-mei.' . . . We know it will only get more fun as they grow older and can really play together." She and her husband plan on having a third child, but not for a few years.
The Sewalls, who currently reside in Clifton Park just north of Albany, wish to thank The Potter's School community. "This is my first year with TPS," Mrs. Sewall said, "and the TPS community has already been such a blessing to me. I have been so overwhelmed by the kindness and genuine care and concern of both my students and colleagues in just a few short months. Even though I have never laid eyes on most of those who I have interaction with, the joy and love of Christ's body of believers is truly among us! What a blessing to a teacher...and a mom!" Mrs. Sewall currently teaches one section of
Advanced Composition on Tuesdays.
