Dear Readers,

Welcome to the January issue of The Cracked Pot! Today marks the beginning of a new year, but it also marks the end of a very full, very blessed year. Wave goodbye to the wondrous year of 2006 and say hello to everything that lies ahead in 2007. Christmas is over, National Novel-Finishing Month has drawn to a close, and we have all downed more than our fair share of Martinelli’s (the non-alcoholic Martinelli’s, of course). The ball has dropped in Times Square, and it’s time to walk forward into the new year that God has given to us. I’m sure that we all know that it’s going to be an amazing year.

How do we know this?

Because the new issue of TCP is out, of course!

Okay, so, maybe that’s just a perk of the new year, but it’s a pretty nice perk, right? Right.

Christmas may be over, but winter certainly isn’t! It’s not too late to have some more seasonal cheer! If your family is like my family, then your Christmas tree is still up, and your eggnog cartons and candy-canes haven’t yet disappeared. It may be time to move on, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t look back!

We have tips for overcoming the post-holiday blues, home-schooling news, sports updates, and even an article about the absolutely amazing event that we all know and love: National Novel-Writing Month!

So, take some time to look around and enjoy everything that we have to offer in this issue.

And, before I forget…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
