You are currently in 2-9/Class Reports  

On May 23, 2006, tears streamed down my face as I typed in my final goodbyes to my fellow classmates in section one, and to our teacher, Mrs. Thomas. From Anne of Green Gables to the poetry unit, English 8 has been the most enjoyable class I’ve ever taken. The road has been long and very bumpy, but we endured it and have received our reward. Many memories have been made together, and I believe that I’ve made friends I’ll keep for a lifetime. Thank you, guys, for making this year so enjoyable!

“Personally, I think this was the best English year I've ever had (no offense intended towards Mrs. Cooper). I learned a lot about grammar, I learned even more about writing, and I discovered my talent for writing. I really appreciate the pains Mrs. Thomas put herself through to make sure each of us (I was probably one of her problem students ~_^ lol) understood each lesson. There are three words I can think of off the top of my head that thoroughly describe this year: ABOVE THE BEST.”  ~~TimF

 

“English 8 has been a great experience for me, I’ve made some friends and learned a lot. Even though poetry was not my favorite assignment, I learned so much about it. I enjoyed all of the writing assignments, especially the Personal Choice and Fiction assignments. Mrs. Thomas has been very encouraging through every single class and every single project. She has been a great teacher, I almost considered flunking myself in order to come back to her class! Of course that is not possible. “  ~~StephenK2

“Well, it's here: The end of TPS for this year! I enjoyed my eighth grade English class with Mrs. Thomas! I appreciated the fact that Mrs. T took time to read everything I sent her, and give me helpful comments. I think that my favorite piece to write was either the Memoir or one of the PC's. (Since I did a continuing chapter by chapter story, all PC's were the same story.) Every week I enjoyed Mrs. T's sometimes funny, sometimes quieting, messages up on the screen before class. Mrs. Thomas made learning fun for me, and helped me to understand things that I had trouble with.
