Dear Readers,
Welcome to our May edition of The Cracked Pot.
As you may remember, last year we took the month of May and devoted it
entirely to our international students. Everything in the issue was
written by either a student living overseas or one who had lived
overseas and wanted to contribute. We have taken this month to repeat
our experiment.
This issue is our International Issue.
Instead of focusing on the United States, as we usually do, everything
in this issue relates to students overseas. In Features, we have
articles based on international relations between US and foreign
students, as well as some poetry and fiction done by international
students. In News, we have a set of articles called the "What's News?"
series. It takes headlines from different countries and provides a
brief glimpse at the daily news of one of our international students.
In Sports, we have two Spotlights highlighting students who trained or
practiced while overseas at their spot. In Columns, we again have two
fantastic International Columns waiting your perusal.
Finally, we have the Honduras 2006 section. As you know, TPS took a
mission trip to Honduras recently, and this section is devoted to
articles written by the participants about their experiences down there.
I hope you enjoy the issue we've put together for you.
Until next month!
