JH General Science, Section 4Published: Sun, 01 Jan 2006 09:00:00 -0500 Every Tuesday morning a cheerful Good morning, everyone from our teacher Mr. Rosenoff greets us through our speakers as we log into class at 7:45 PM (ET time.) Then we get a few minutes to talk with fellow classmates. Class starts with a dutiful prayer, then we all start our hour and half class with our teacher, who teaches us about the world and science that surrounds us every day. Hannah Aurich (HannahA) says she likes TPS because, I think that its really nice for all these people from different countries to be able to do school with one another. Using the TPS course for science is really exciting because you always are finding out new things about life. Not only do you study and take tests and exams, but you can also make new friends and share experiences with each other. During the week, we answer the Module Questions that we are given, and we also study for our tests, or for the exam that is coming up in January. Another thing that we are assigned to do during the week is to write lab reports. Most modules have a certain amount of lab experiments, which I love doing. They are fun and make science even more interesting. Mr. Rosenoff makes classes interesting with funny pictures, while making announcements, cool sites and giving us five minutes of chatting to each other, before class starts. I never really enjoyed science, but Mr.Rosenoff (as well as Dr. Wile), have made the classes and assignments fun and easy to do. This year is possibly the best homeschooling year I have ever had. Last year I used the book, which is called Exploring Creation with General Science, with my mom and myself. I understood most of it, but in some areas I failed to understand. Mr. Rosenoff has helped me and I have learned much and I hope to remember what I have learned, not in the mere future but even when I am an adult.
