Heaven's Flight

Tiffany Yonts

Where will I go

When my sheer façade

Begins to shatter once again?

And where will I go

When the pieces of my heart

Seem too broken now to mend?

Shall I go on trusting,

Too far from love to hate?

Is my soul too bereft,

Too far from Heaven’s gate?

I can’t be like this forever

Sometime, this has to end

Is anyone there to hear,

Or am I alone again?

Once again...

Where should I go

When I hear Your voice

In the stillness of the dark?

And where should I run

When everywhere I go

Is everywhere You are?

Shall I fly into Your arms,

Let mercy break these walls?

Is there really any choice

When I’m about to fall?

I can’t be like this forever

Sometime, this has to end

Cast not away my burning heart

I plead for Your love to send

Once again...

Cast a light into my darkness

Bring Your life into my night

Let me fall upon Your grace

Held safe in Heaven’s flight

Friend

Kristen Schaab

I prayed for you before we met

Not knowing who you’d be

I asked the Lord to send a friend

One chosen just for me

I asked that they’d be Godly

With wisdom of His ways

A friend to help and guide me

Through the troubles of these days

So often in life we need someone

To listen while we talk

Someone who will not condemn or judge

But encourage us as we walk

When I asked the Lord to send a friend

Though many came and went

He gave much more than I ever asked

For you are the friend he sent

It All

Sarah Hayes

As I look back on my life, The things that I've done
The problems that I've faced, The battles that I've won

Can I really say that, I did everything, I needed to
And can I really say that, I did my best for You

Did I run the race to finish first, did I fight to the end
Did I do everything in life, so I could be a friend
To everyone I met, and everyone I saw
Did I really, oh, did I really, do it all?

When death takes me home, and I stand before the throne
What will I present, to my precious Lord

Can I really say that, I did everything, I needed to
And can I really day that, I did my best for You

Did I run the race to finish first, did I fight to the end
Did I do everything in life, so I could be a friend
To everyone I met, and everyone I saw
Did I really, oh, did I really, do it all?

My past is gone forever, but my future is ahead
What will I be able to say, when my life ends

Did I run the race to finish first, did I fight to the end
Did I do everything in life, so I could be a friend
To everyone I met, and everyone I saw
Did I really, oh, did I really, do it all?
