"Clay Aiken might sing 'I'll Be Home for Christmas,' but he
won't be, as he embarks on his JOYFUL NOISE 2005 tour, his second
consecutive holiday tour," states the news section of the
ClayAiken.com, website of the popular American Idol season 2 runner-up,
Clay Aiken. Since its debut last year, Aiken's holiday album,
"Merry Christmas With Love" has become a platinum-selling album and was
the best-selling new holiday album in 2004. As Clay embarks on
his second holiday tour, he plans to sing songs both recorded on the
CD, and not, along with some new arrangements of traditional favorite
Christmas carols.

Breakdown of some of the tracks:
Track 1: O, Holy Night
Done by many artists over the year, O, Holy Night
can be difficult to sing, unless you have a high range, and Clay Aiken
definitely has it. He uses his wide range to sing the song with
the emotion and dynamics that it deserves.
Track 2: Winter Wonderland
Clay
takes this well-known song and makes it his own by adding a slightly
more poppy feel and using his high tenor vocals to sing it very well.
Track 5: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
One of my personal favorites, Clay sings this song very well using the soft melodies and wonderful harmonies.
Track 6: Mary, Did You Know?
Although
many different artists have done this song over the years, Clay Aiken
still retains his originality and uses his high tenor voice and unique
poppy style to make it his own.
Track 9: Don't Save it All for Christmas Day
This
song, done in the past by various artists such as Celine Dion and
Avalon, Aiken still takes the song and turns it into something that is
uniquely his. While retaining the main melody, Aiken
uses his high voice and ability to hold notes for a long time, to make
this song dynamic and enjoyable to listen to.
