It’s my immense pleasure to welcome you to our long-awaited February edition of The Cracked Pot. This month's theme is Valentine's Day.

Three notes:

• Due to a slight glitch in the iWP software, the spacing between paragraphs is often eliminated. We're working on this.
• You may notice an article or two missing. Allow me to explain: All the articles were written under the assurance that they would be protected under the password of the old site and only viewed by TPSers and their families. Some written-about persons may feel uncomfortable going world-wide with such personal info as home locations, personal photographs, etc. We are in the process of checking with each of the written-about persons to make sure it's OK with them to reveal this information. Again, I don't know if any objections will be given, but I'd not like to take chances. People were promised privacy; I don't want to take it away without checking with them first.
• In light of this, full names have not been used for any TPS student unless they are a writer or we have gotten explict permission from the student to use their full name.
